The year 2020 has gotten off to an explosive start in terms of the number of games just like the previous year. As we speak a member has already clocked seven games during the festive period.

 

Two scores of 40 points are in the shed as well. This can only be a good omen as far as ReMmoho golf is concerned in this year as well as the new century that has just kicked off.

 

In this first newsletter of the year let’s take the opportunity to congratulate the winner of the Wine Tournament, Mbuyiselo Ngcakani, that was played on the 16th December 2019 at Copperleaf Country Club. His points haul of 38 points is arguably a new record for this one day extravaganza that is traditionally the club’s last tournament of the year. Tied on 35 points for 2nd and 3rd position were Oupa Ramaswiela and Reynold Ngobese. Israel Sethuntsa and Xolani Makwabe rounded off the top five also tied on 34 points. Congratulations gentlemen on managing to bring your A game to the event and playing out of your skins. Congratulations also to our new Organising committee (Steve, Nthumeni, Musandiwa and Thato) on pulling off a successful event.
