Joe is a seasoned corporate executive and counsel of many years standing, having practiced law as a commercial attorney for Werksmans Inc..

 

During the past 15 years he has held variouscorporate and commercial legal roles at multinational companies including, as Legal director and General counsel of Coca Cola Southern Africa and general counsel and head of external affairs of British American Tobacco Southern Africa.

 

Joe currently serves as group legal executive and general counsel at Massmart Holdings. He is a law graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand and Nottingham Trent University (UK) and an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.

 

He is an avid traveller who also enjoys motorsport when off the golf course.
