Livhu is the head of operations at Grinding Media South Africa, formerly a division of the Scaw Metals group. He holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, a Masters in Industrial Engineering and has also completed the Senior Executive Program for Africa at Harvard.

 

He has previously also worked as an in-house technical consultant, in projects management, business development, energy management, and extractive metallurgy at Anglo American, Scaw and Sasol.

 

Other than golf, his other interests are running and farming. Livhu is also a co-founder of a bursary scheme, at the primary school that he attended, that has been sponsoring students from primary school to university for the past 13 years.
